I have been teaching for over 30 years and I still love "My Kids". I was born and raised in Hooks, so I bleed Hornet Blue.  I am a 1974 graduate from HHS and received my teaching degree from Texas A&M University Texarkana.

 I have been married to John for 34 years. We have two wonderful daughters: Katie and Anna. Katie and her husband, Micah blessed us with our first granddaughter, Julia Rose Huckaby - She is the Light of our Lives.  BEAUTIFUL!!!  I Love being a Grammy.  Anna is a hair stylist in Texarkana at Style Studio.

John and I have two dogs - Tucker (brown Labrador) and Pepper (dachshund). We both love the Texas Rangers baseball team and binge-watching Netflix and Hulu.
