Counselor, Shannon Diamond
I have lived in Hooks most of my life with a brief five years living in Little Rock, Arkansas, to attend college and gain independence.
My husband, Andrew, and I moved back to Texas in 1999. We are celebrating 24 years of marriage in September and have two beautiful daughters. Jillian is a senior at UCA majoring in Biology with an emphasis on Pre-OT. Joely is a junior at Hooks High School where she is active with Student Council, the Leadership team, and a member of the National Honor Society.
I am in my 11th year as School Counselor for Hooks Elementary, and I love every minute of it. The opportunities afforded to me as I help guide the students to become successful individuals are extremely rewarding. In addition to being a counselor, a few of my favorite activities include spending time with my family, being involved with my church, and reading.
